The menu is exquisite and so regal! The colours, the presentation, the taste, the texture, it's pure luxury!

We enjoyed:

✨ Fesenjan Stew-slow cooked chicken with ground walnuts, pomegranate paste, served with rice and saffron 👌👌👌

✨ Baghali polo ba mahicheh-slow cooked lamb shank served with broad bean, dill, rice and saffron

✨ Family tray-star of the show!

✨ Akbar jojeh (Saturday special) – deep fried saffron chicken served with pomegranate paste

✨ Shirazi salad-traditional Persian salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, onion and lemon juice

✨ Salad Fasl-Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrot and sauce.

✨ Tasty tray 2-koofteh, Kashke bademjan (fried smokey eggplant), spinach yoghurt and mixed pickles

✨ Gheimehnesar – Lean lamb, onion and tomato, served with nuts, saffron and barberies. This blew me away! 👌👌👌

These flavours are so different, bursting with tangy pomegranate, crunchy pistachios, zingy barberies, sweet walnuts, rich saffron….this was excellence in every plate!.

The absolute standouts were the Fesenjan stew, my gid that sauce with the walnuts coming through was absolutely fantastic!

Close second was the gheimehnesar, hidden lamb stew beneath beautifully cooked saffron rice and pops of barberies and crunchy nuts. This was everything and then some.

They also have a kids menu and you should definitely have their cheeseburger and chips! Your kiddos will be very happy!

Oh and my new favourite drinks are their range of @barbican_kgz drinks. These are sooo good
